Mom Was Here

I drove my mom to the air port today, and put her on a plane back to New England. I was sad she had to leave, but happy because it's only another month until Z and I head home for a week. I wish we'd taken more pictures together while she was here, but it seems like I didn't think of it until it was the end of the day, and we here putting our pajamas on. But anyway, here's a recap:

Thursday: Chipotle, Pedicures, and relaxing at our place.
Friday: Mom got lost while going for a walk :), went shopping, 1 hr. deep tissue massages, more shopping, BBQ'd our dinner, Coldstone for dessert (yum!)While shopping on Friday, mom spoiled us by bringing this little bistro set home with us:

Saturday: Morning walk, Wedding, Played around in the park, Went out to dinner at an awesome local place, and made a late night run to the mall :)

We saw this gorgeous cloud on our way to the mall.. and of course, being true nerds, we had to take a picture:

Sunday: Went to our new nephew's baby dedication at church, Took pictures by the local Annie Oakley statue, Went to lunch, Sat outside & got some sun, and watched Valkerie (good movie, but sad)Goofing around because I was super tall in 4" heels :)

Monday: Since I had to work, Mom baked us some homemade bread in the morning, and went outlet shopping. Then we had dinner- Mom's homemade Mac 'N Cheese (yum..), Went on a walk at the local preserve & falls, Chilled & enjoyed our last night together, and helped Mom pack.


Overall, a wonderful weekend. I cherish times with family- and I love girl time with mom! Thanks for visiting, Mom! Glad you had a safe trip back! :)
